At Premier, our Mission and Core Values come from a passion of caring for the people around us. Whether that be our healthcare clinicians, our clients, or neighbors in our community, we strive to treat others with the same kindness and compassion that we would appreciate. The ability we have to give back and support the organizations and neighbors in our community is something very near and dear to our hearts here at Premier. This gives us the chance to bring positive, effective and supportive change to the people in our community that we get to see and interact with every day. Whether it’s working with those in our community at local charities, supporting our local veterans, or assisting hospitals and facilities in our area – we hope to always make a positive difference in those we serve in our community.
Heroes for Healthcare
Led by former nurse and owner of Premier Medical Staffing Services, Laura Hanoski began Heroes for Healthcare in 2017. After realizing how many veterans who worked in healthcare while in the service were unemployed due to their skills not being directly transferable to civilian side, Laura created a set of services to help veterans find employment after service.

Salvation Army Adopt-A-Family
During the holiday season, Premier participates in The Salvation Army’s Adopt-a-Family program. Our corporate employees bring gifts to support a family in need in the Milwaukee area so they can have presents to open on Christmas.

Father Gene’s Help Center
Our corporate employees participate in volunteer work with Father Gene’s Help Center in Milwaukee. Father Gene’s Help Center provides free clothing to those in need, offering a personalized shopping experience for their clients at no cost. Their mission is to foster a community in which all people have access to clean, dignified clothing in which they feel confident.

VMP Kids 2 Kids Toy Collection
VMP Healthcare Community Living is hosting the 14th annual Kids 2 Kids Toy Campaign. Since 2006 the Kids 2 Kids campaign has provided 205,630 toys to the Salvation Army and other local children’s charities. They aim to teach younger people the lesson of giving to their less fortunate peers. It’s all about kids (of all ages!) giving to other kids and we’d love your help to make this the biggest toy drive yet!

Aurora Family to Family Thanksgiving
Premier Medical Staffing Services is teaming up with Aurora Family Service, a community program of Aurora Health Care, to help provide local families in need of food and resources through their Family to Family Thanksgiving Program so they can prepare and share Thanksgiving dinner in their own homes. This year, Aurora’s goal is to assist 3,100 families in the Milwaukee area.

Pathways Wisconsin
Pathways Wisconsin collaborates regionally to deliver career pathways in areas such as nursing, construction, manufacturing, information technology, and more. Premier Medical Staffing Services is part of this organization to promote nursing careers to high school students in our community. By aligning education and training to meet the needs of our Wisconsin healthcare employers, we can help build a quality talent pool to fill the healthcare staffing gap.

Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so in the fall of 2022, Premier got involved with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and became a sponsor for the More Than Pink Walk. Premier employees not only raised funds, but also showed up on a chilly October morning to walk 2 miles for breast cancer awareness and research.
